Problem we were solving

Dispatchers for trucking fleets have a difficult job. They need to help support their truck drivers while they are out on the road while always hunting for the best possible cargo for their drivers. It requires attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tools at the same time. They are constantly checking anywhere between 8-13 different sources for their next cargo, calculating potential rates, and monitoring weather and road conditions to make sure their drivers are setup for successful transit.

Solution we built

We partnered with Bosch to build a cargo load board aggregator that gives up to date load status and helps dispatchers make the best choices by providing by recommending the best possible jobs while taking into account truck and driver status, route options and potential hazards.

• Lead workshop to breakdown vision into actionable work plan
• Created a research plan based on stakeholder questions and visited on-site to customers to learn about their process
• Designed wireframes through high-fidelity designs for the new application
• Visited trucking companies for contextual research and to test possible solutions
• Advised on technology stack to test if this matches both
